When scanning the house, do I need to open up cupboards?

For kitchens, please scan the cupboards (doors closed is OK) only as we can calculate based on the size of the kitchen. For any cupboards or wardrobes, please open as the volumes can vary.

Will I need to pack everything myself?

No, we offer a full packing service where our team carefully packs everything for you. 

Can I add items to my move after the initial survey?

Yes, you can add items. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss additional items or rooms. We’ll strive to accommodate changes, though extra items may affect the schedule and could incur an additional fee.

What information should I provide when booking?

To ensure smooth planning, please share:

Details of large, heavy, or fragile items (e.g., pianos, artwork).

How do I prepare my home for moving day?

Disassemble Large Furniture: If you haven’t opted for our disassembly service, please disassemble large items in advance.

Pack an Essentials Box: Include items you’ll need right away, like toiletries, basic kitchen supplies, and phone chargers.

We understand that plans can change! Contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust your move date, add items, or update details. We’ll do our best to accommodate, though some changes may incur additional fees if they require extra resources or time.

What should I do if my move date changes unexpectedly?

If your move date changes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., a delay in house sale completion), let us know immediately. We’ll work with you to reschedule.

What do I do about washing machine or tumble dryer?

All items will need to be disconnected so that the removals team can safely move these. 

What should I expect on the day of the move?

Do you offer temporary storage if I can’t move directly into my new home?

Yes, we offer secure storage options for short or long-term needs. Let us know in advance if storage is required, and we’ll arrange a storage solution that fits your timeline.

How do I pay for my move?

We offer various payment options, including credit card, bank transfer, or other secure methods. A £100 deposit is required upon booking, with the remainder due before the move. We’ll discuss payment options and schedules when you book.

Do you provide unpacking services?

Yes! We offer an unpacking service where our team will place items in designated areas and assist with reassembly if required. Let us know when booking if you’d like to include unpacking in your service package. The unpacking option is not included as standard.

Will you collect the boxes after the move?

Yes, please let us know and we will arrange for someone to collect these.

Do you do house clearance?

Yes, we can work with you should there be any – or all – items going to clearance.

What happens if my keys are released late?

Keys are normally released by 1pm, if there are delays or events outside our reasonable control this could mean we are unable to finish the unload that day. We will work with you in these instances to help arrange temporary storage or arrange overtime for the removals team to complete the task. Additional costs may be incurred.
